    This worm has some issues with muscle control, so she can't move in the normal sinusoidal way. Some of the mutations have problems like this, or coiling/kinking behavior. Egg laying is not the only data coming out of these recordings, you may have noticed that the color of the outlines is variable depending on how bent the worm is, the worm's position and body posture is measured and recorded automatically.

    Those ones are so sad looking! They move around a lot, but somehow are managing to push back as much as they're pushing forward and just wiggle in place. Trying to moonwalk, maybe?
