ZooCon, our annual conference for our volunteers, will take place on the afternoon of Saturday 11th July this year in Oxford.

Please join us for discussions inspired by our projects. Whether you're interested in ecology, astronomy, humanites, or the future of the Zooniverse, there will be something for you to hear about*. We will have a range of talks by Zooniverse team members and researchers behind various projects. We'll then head to the place where it all began - the Royal Oak pub! Tickets are free. To reserve yours now, go to https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/zoocon-2015-tickets-16610690021 .

The talks will take place in the Dennis Sciama lecture theatre, Denys Wilkinson Building (Keble Rd, Oxford OX1 3RH) from 1pm-5pm - you'll need us to let you in so please arrive on time.

*Schedule of speakers to follow soon

And here's the link to last year's ZooCon talk thread : http://talk.galaxyzoo.org/?_ga=1.205450640.1868268968.1427484295#/boards/BGZ0000002/discussions/DGZ0000uqy

I can highly recommend ZooCon. It is very interesting and of course good fun to meet other zooites in person.

Hope to see lots of you there ! 😃

I am even further away from this than I was for the last two years! Not just an ocean in between anymore, I've put a whole continent in the way.

    One day... 😃

The nice thing about the world is that the further you go from a spot in one direction, the closer you become (to that spot) in the opposite direction!

    Stay cool

Just so you know : If I win with the EuroMillions: every one is invited and paid for. Unfortunately the most I have won was 5 Euros ! 😉 We can only hope ! 😄
