What should the eggs look like?

I have not seen any eggs being laid so far. What should it look like. I did see a cluster elsewhere in the environment
but uncertain whether those were eggs. SharonPosted

The eggs pop out near the red dot, just like in the tutorial. Sometimes just one comes, sometimes two lay at the same time, and sometimes several come one at a time. Here's one of the more interesting egg laying events I've come across so far. Notice how the eggs erupt into the food medium and then come to rest back against the body of the worm.
