there is an egg next to the worm right at the start of the video, as if it had laid it just before the video started, but that doesn't count. The egg was already there.

That's right. No eggs were laid during this segment so don't mark anything. If the egg was laid in an earlier segment that we captured then someone can still mark it in that segment.
